Updates for the week of September 15, 2017

Construction update:

  • Construction is active for the Geothermal Ground Loop project.
  • Lot K is now completed and ready for staff and student use.
  • Lot D is also completed and is accessible for staff and students for the Fall semester.
  • The initial design review has been completed for the North Parking project.
  • Building 5 Renovation: Work is progressing into the Schematic Design Phase and the end users are reviewing schematic design layouts for the second and third floors.

Construction Notice update for June 29, 2017

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE UPDATE:

 The last phase of the Geothermal project is scheduled to start next week, July 3-7, 2017. This work will occur in the north part of parking Lot E. Through traffic will still be permitted through this area but will be controlled by the contractor.  

Students will be able to park in the approximately 50 spaces in Lot E on the west of the Soccer field and in Lots H & G. Parking will also be available in the South Parking Structure with Ohlone Pony Shuttle service to and from the parking garage and the lower campus. The Ohlone Pony Shuttle is available Monday – Thursday, between 7:00 AM – 12 Noon, running approximately every 20 minutes. 

Lot D is expected to be open for the 2017 Fall Semester and Lot E is expected to reopen at the end of September. 

As this will be an active construction site, please be advised to use caution when driving in and around Lot E. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused.

Construction Update for May 31, 2017

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE UPDATE:

Construction on the Geothermal Ground Loop project will be in progress in the driveway north of Lot D and part of Lot E. This phase will occur starting June 5 through June 19, 2017. While the contractor will provide Flaggers to direct traffic, please exercise caution while driving through this area. Please pardon our dust and your patience is continually appreciated.
